About the Co-Ruler of Sugar Rush AU
This AU contains spoilers for the end of Wreck-It Ralph.
This AU is a continuation of the Track Ghost AU and was created with the help of
adorablyrotten, it wouldn't be the same without her input!
Instead of being saved by Vanellope at the end of the movie, Ralph died and got turned into a glitchy track ghost instead.
Because of Ralph's death, Fix-It Felix Jr. is unplugged and Felix and the Nicelanders find new homes and jobs in other games.
The loss of Fix-It Felix Jr. at Litwak's has an unexpected effect, since Mr. Litwak likes older arcade games, he buys another copy of Turbo Time to replace the other game. The new Turbo (
herotastic) from that game isn't treated well by the other characters, because of the one that came before him. However, Felix gives him a chance and the two become buddies.
Eventually, Vanellope stumbles across track ghost Ralph. She's thrilled to see him, but she soon finds out that he can't speak and they can't even hug.
She runs to find Felix to ask him if he can fix their friend. Turbo happens to be around and he goes with them, partially out of curiosity to see what his other self caused.
Unfortunately, not even Felix's magic hammer can fix Ralph. Vanellope cries over this and Felix gives her a big hug. That's when Turbo decides that he needs to set what the other Turbo did right.
After a few months of learning code and much trial and error, Turbo was finally able to restore Ralph. During the process, Turbo discovered that Ralph could communicate in binary, so he learned that as well, so that they could communicate.
Because bits and pieces of old Sugar Rush code were used to bring Ralph back, he officially becomes Vanellope's older brother, Prince "Wreck-It" Ralph Von Schweetz. To make him a real Prince, Turbo designed him an official royal outfit (but for some reason, he never could get shoes to work on Ralph). Ralph dislikes his royal outfit, but fortunately, he's able to wear his old clothes whenever he wants to.
He now is one of the possible racers for the day, and his car is a Sugar Rush-ifed version of his wrecking truck from Sonic and All-Stars Racing Transformed.
Once Ralph is back alive, he lives happily in the castle with Vanellope. They hang out with Felix, Calhoun, and Turbo and they often have rowdy parties at Tapper together.
